1. Application and acceptance
These terms apply to the Future Balance iOS app and Web service provided by SosoPixel. By using the app or Web service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The usage rules and license terms of the App Store from which you downloaded the app may also apply. Mandatory law and required app-store terms control if they conflict with these terms.
2. Nature of the service
Future Balance is a tool that calculates projections for compound investment growth, deposits and installment savings, scenario comparisons, and portfolios from assumptions that you enter, including amounts, periods, returns, interest rates, and tax rates.
Future Balance does not sell or broker financial products, hold, transfer, or invest actual funds, or execute enrollment in or transactions for a financial product.
3. Calculations and important limitations
Every result is a mathematical projection based on assumptions you enter and formulas used by the service. Actual results may differ because of rounding, contribution timing, compounding frequency, tax treatment, and the actual terms of a financial institution.
Future Balance does not provide investment recommendations, investment advice, tax, accounting, or legal advice, or any guarantee of returns. Do not make a financial decision based only on a calculation. Check official provider terms and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
4. Inputs and your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your inputs and purpose are lawful and accurate. Do not enter actual account numbers, credentials, or unnecessary personal information about another person in item names or support emails.
You are responsible for interpreting results and using them in real decisions. Tax law, interest rates, fees, inflation, and market conditions can change, so you must separately check current official information.
5. Storage and data management
Calculation inputs and settings may be stored on your device in the iOS app. On Web, calculation inputs are not kept in persistent browser storage and may disappear when you reload, close a tab, or otherwise change browser state.
SosoPixel does not operate a user account or server that can recover calculation inputs. You should separately record any result you need. You are responsible for device loss or damage, app removal, and operating-system backup management.
6. Advertising and external services
Depending on the platform, Future Balance may include Google AdMob or Google AdSense advertising and advertising privacy controls. Calculation features remain available if advertising is restricted or not shown.
Advertising, the App Store, the operating system, and linked external services are governed by each provider’s terms and privacy policy. SosoPixel does not control third-party operations or endorse an advertiser’s products or services.
7. Permitted use and prohibited conduct
You may use Future Balance for personal and lawful purposes or ordinary informational use that does not place an unreasonable burden on the service. You must not:
- interfere with or bypass the service or its security features, or attempt unauthorized access;
- misrepresent a result as an official calculation from a financial institution or as professional advice; or
- copy, redistribute, or sell the app or its content beyond what applicable law permits.
8. Updates and service changes
SosoPixel may update formulas, presentation, advertising, or platform compatibility. We do not promise that changes in law, tax rates, or financial practices will be reflected automatically or immediately.
We work to provide the service reliably, but we do not promise permanent availability or error-free, uninterrupted operation on every device and browser. We will use available methods to give advance notice of an important discontinuation or change that requires user action when reasonably possible.
9. Intellectual property
The Future Balance app and Web service, name, logos, design, text, calculation screens, and software belong to SosoPixel or their lawful owners. SosoPixel does not acquire rights in values that you enter.
10. Warranties and limits of responsibility
SosoPixel works to make calculations consistent and the service reliable but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness of a result for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, SosoPixel is not responsible for indirect or incidental loss caused by a financial decision based on a result, market changes, external services, or failures that are not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Privacy
See the Future Balance Privacy Policy for information about calculations, device storage, connection information, advertising, and customer-support correspondence.
12. Changes to these terms and ending use
We may update these terms when the service or applicable law changes. The revised terms and effective date will be posted on this page, and material changes that disadvantage users will be announced in the app or on the website a reasonable time in advance.
You may stop using Future Balance at any time by removing the app or leaving the Web service. Ending use does not affect liabilities or statutory rights that have already arisen.
13. Governing law, language, and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and jurisdiction is determined under applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence are not affected.
If the Korean version differs from a translation, the Korean version controls, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
